Beautiful - the windows and the views are worth the visit alone. Tours are available for a price - we just wanted to wander around and soak it up. The cafe inside was very nice as was the inside market. The architecture was amazing.

I was not sure about coming in here, but I am so glad that we did. We did not stay long or catch an event. There was a little gift shop that had some cool stuff to look at. However, it was so beautiful inside....More

This is certainly an architectural must see, we spent an age wandering up and down the stair cases, looking at the changes in view, the way the glass "crystals" line up in an infinite view. We were lucky enough to see someone having a private...More

Wow, we were entranced by the Opera House. It is so impressive, so unusual, and so captivating! We went during "daylight" (dead of winter) when it was snowing, and then returned in the darkness (early evening after dinner). Worth going twice, as the lighting interacts...More

I only had 1-2 hours in downtown and consider this a must see. You can go inside as well. Nice gift shop and seems to have rotating exhibits. It has a cafe serving food and drinks. The architecture is worth a visit inside to really...More

We stopped in and looked around. They have a really cool gift shop. We didn't stay too long but it was pretty.

Stunning building and a great photo opportunity of the harbour, bay and the opera house itself. It's a building that shouldn't be missed as there's not another one like it. Free to have a roam around invite.

Reykjavik is an artsy city and this building is a part of the cultural scene. It dominates the area where it is situated. As you approach the sun plays with the building in a way that gives off a cool aura. The interior is open...More

Definitely go see the Opera, it is very interesteing architecture. Seems to be all glass which changes color by the minute depending on the sun and clouds. There is also a restaurant there but we did not eat there. Worth a stop though.
