Perlan Museum - Wonders of Iceland Come and explore The Glacier and Ice Cave Exhibition. It illustrates the glaciers of Iceland, their history, present and bleak future, and gives visitors the amazing opportunity to experience travelling through an ice cave right in the city center. Perlan Museum is the cities biggest attraction and has Reykjavík's best observation platform, offering a 360 degree view of the city and surroundings. The Perlan boosts a gift shop, a café and a new and exciting restaurant, Ut i blainn, on the top floor of Perlan, underneath the huge glass dome. Learn more at perlanmuseum.is

My friend and I went to Perlan because I really wanted to see the backdrop of the famous church towering over Reykjavik with mountains in the backdrop. This cost about 450iSK (around $5 cdn). However, when we got there, the floor on which the observation...More

Hello Ellie, Thank you for your question. People spend around 1-3 hours inside Perlan Museum when they visit the glacier exhibition, our 360° observation deck as well as our Café and Restaurant. Best regards, Susan

For now during shoulder season you do not need to book tickets in advance. Still we recommend arriving between 9-11 in the morning or 17-18 in the afternoon. The hours around mid-day are usually more busy. We have tours... More
