Looks very nice, especially late afternoon, after sunshine. Great to walk with family. Valuable because of nice panorama of island.

The Citadel is situated on the highest point of the city of Victoria. It has been inhabited for a very long period and has withstood many invaders

A wonderful and imposing castle with so many museums and alleys to visit. Upon the outside walls you can have some great views over Victoria town.

Was a lovely early morning walk from my hotel on Republic Street, up to the ramparts and around it. Views were breath-taking. Its free to enter if you don't want to see the museums. .There's a lift from base level.

Citadel offers outstanding views in all directions. It’s impressive building, with couple of shops and other amenities. Must see if you’re at Gozo.

Well worth the bus ride to the ferry and the walk up the hill. On display is Malta’s finest panorama and another excellent cathedral.

The Citadel has been tastefully renovated and made very tourist friendly. Worth visiting the visitor's centre sound show before entering the castle as it brings to life the whole history of Gozo the island and the importance of the Citadel in the island's history.
