cap carbon, reportedly housing the tallest natural lighthouse in the world, is located at gouraya national park.

to get here, you will be driving through narrow mountain roads and residential neighborhoods. so try to visit early or on a day not packed with locals. there are places to park right in front of the entrance tunnel to cap carbon. parking fees is 100 dinars and in effect starting 9 am.

hiking takes 20-30 min, with monkeys watching you. they are not aggressive

i am not sure how some people can walk with no issues all the way to the lighthouse. because it is a military zone. there is a quasi-barrier, which appears broken, but i dont want to be apprehended

unfortunately have to deduct one star because there is too much trash here and everywhere in the park. crazy that i have to dodge flying plastic bags splattered with unknown matters. wind is strong because you are basically out in the Mediterranean sea. so make sure you bring a jacket

It was a most amazing view what I seen before. I just loved it. The place is beautiful specially when you watch from the side of the mountain to the sea side. The color of the water is very nice blue and clear. How you walk up to the mountain you can meet with some friendly monkeys who`s always hungry for some nice banana :D
You have to be careful if have bag or water with you specially for sunglasses because they can still it very quickly. I had very good experience here and definitely I will be back soon. The entry is for free and in the entrance you can also buy some nice traditional souvenirs.

I went to Cape Carbon by boat for the sunset, it’s magnificent. You find boats on the port of Saket for 2000 dinars you take the 2 hour tour.
