Not only walking, by ferry or bus but that little train gave me the advantage to see the city and it is always fun if your transportation reminds you the trains in fairs . Me and my boyfriend liked it so much, comfortable and at a good price . If you want to see the city in a different way,... More

On arrival at Rabat for the old city of Mdina, the train ride starts just outside the Domus Romana and near the bus stops. It is a great way to start your visit as it provides useful information about the area and allows you to get your bearings. It provides good opportunities to see the city of Mdina from a... More

We'd just arrived by bus in Mdina and thought this would be a good way to see the town but actually it was mainly about Rabat - its history, what to see etc. It was fun and restful. You get a good view of Mdina from the train. After we entered Mdina through the archway near where the train stopped.

A pleasant way to see the sights. It starts from just outside the Roman Villa near the park and bus stop main square. Costs 5 Euro and is worth it, you get a snap shot of the area and can decide if there are places you want to go see more of.

A pleasure journey through this old town , an innovative way which can conclude a beautiful day visit of Rabat and Mdina . The commentary was clear and children would definitely love this . A bit on high end when it comes to pricing for families

As can be clearly seen on the route map it doesn't go into Mdina. Having already walked around Mdina and seen the Mdina experience film we were ready to see Rabat and the surrounding area. This tour gave us just what we wanted. Nice clear commentary in English and French.

We used this when we went to Mdina to see the surrounding areas. The train doesn't go into Mdina (nothing does, its walking only) but it goes around Rabat and the surrounding areas.

Did the little train ride art the start of our visit here. It doesn't actually go into Mdina, but goes through Rabat and the surrounding areas. There is a good commentary and you get to see views that you would not otherwise take time to see. Well worth a go

We paid 10euro for two to be driven around scenic spots. It was around the old town, and was very pleasant and gave you a rest from all the walking around! Friendly man driver and rang the bell and stops so you can take photo and explains over the mike the history as he goes along!
