This is a good way to get between Sliema and Valletta but it is very hit and miss as it is cancelled if there is a swell in the harbour. When it does run it is a very easy journey but there is an uphill...More

Did a morning trip across to Sliema from Valletta as we were staying there for a week. Quick cheap and efficient. On and off no messing about. Well practiced service obviously. Not that I thought much of Sliema having not been there now for 30yrs...More

We wanted to cross and go and see the 3 cities and decided that this was going to be the easiest way to get there. The ferries are regular and on time. You can sit inside or outside depending on the weather. Good and inexpensive.

Nothing much one can say, beyond very reasonable price, regular, efficient and friendly service Be aware of a very steep climb back up to Valetta

Staying in Silema we used the ferry to get across to Valletta. Reasonably priced and a great view of the city as you approach. It doesn’t take long and it’s a pretty calm. If you have real difficulty with mobility it might be an issue...More

Go to option if I have to go very quickly from Valletta to Sliema (much faster compared to the bus). Pro: much faster than the bus, you can use you Tallinja card. Cons: bit more expensive than bus, check also timetable.

Very efficient and always on time also very good value. It gets very busy so it’s worth joining queue 10 minutes or so prior to departure time.

Only did this once on a return ticket, but found it perfectly OK, given the numbers on board. You have to be quick to get a seat up on deck, but the crossing only takes 5 minutes or so anyway. One word of warning, the...More

As others have said it takes 15 minutes (including load & unload). However it is worth noting that it is currently running on the winter timetable, from 1st November until 31st May. First ferry from Valletta 07:00, and last... More

The weekly pass is for one route only, if you want to use both it is an additional 50 Euros.
