This state of the art building is spread over four floors and is not your typical Postal Museum. It offers a run through of Maltese history from the 15th century. The Museum also boasts of two temporary gallery spaces, a large audio-visual room and merchandising store. The temporary gallery spaces currently offer a collection of photographic prints by Richard Ellis, and what is arguably the finest collection of works by Emvin Cremona, regarded by many as one of the best Maltese artists of the 20th century.

A gem of a place, offering interesting insights apart from a comprehensive display of Maltese stamps. The collection of letters from different epochs is thrilling. The activity area for children at the topmost floor is a great bonus. Definitely not just for philatelists!

In these days of what's app, if you care about those days when letters took weeks to reach their destination, then you must visit Malta Postal Museum, that provides great insight into the history of snail mail and stamps. Nice building architecture and clear displays.

We visited the museum as something to use up some time before the coach back to our hotel. We were surprised just how interesting it was. Shame it's spread over three floors but there is a lift so no problem with access particularly if you...More

A wonderful museum, beautifully set out, and really informative. Different video presentations on each floor. Immaculately kept, and very welcoming. We visited other museums, and this was definitely the best kept.... in great contrast to the Aviation Museum, for example, which held some very interesting...More
