We visited here for a few hours RandR after a very heavy walking tour a couple of days earlier. It was a pleasant change not to be rushed and crowded.

We visited here with a guide which I would recommend as there is too much to see otherwise. Lots of magnificent buildings as there are everywhere in Valetta.

I visited this place with a group accompanied by a local guide. I do not like group tours, but for this place, if you want history information, I recommend that you visit the local guide. A place that can not be skipped.

Very nice place to start the tour of the island. Birgu is very scenic with the promenade towards Fort S.Angelo. You can find many bus routes from Valletta Bus terminus (1,2,3 etc).

We really enjoyed our afternoon trip, just a short 15 minute ferry crossing, from Valletta to Birgu, Vittoriosa and Senglea. The ferry itself was inexpensive , only a few Euro for a return journey, and it enables you to take fabulous photos of the capital...More

I previously said it was 2 euros, but I wasn’t sure. Other people have answered 4 euros. So, most likely it was 4 euros.

Friends of mine, a family of four, paid 20 euros each way for a little gondola that leaves from next to the ferry.
