It is the biggest square of the old town surrounded by restaurants, cafes. Street musicians are also located in the square.

St George Square was lovely, was a nice little sun trap, with lots of cafe's and restaurant's just off that all looked lovely.

Beautiful clean valetta.... lovely to sit got a while and watch time idle by.... Really nice. Water in middle for hot days! But in March just pleasantly warm.

Plenty of seating around this huge square. Enjoy the people watching, or, if you’re lucky, watch the spectacle of the changing of the guards.

just stopped at the cafe in the square for a rest and a drink while sightseeing as my sister and I are in the late 60's and not as fit as we used to be.

This square is Vallettas largest and is at the opposite end of the main shopping street, Republic Street, from the City Gate. It's a central spot where you can arrange to meet up with friends or you can simply use the benches there to sit...More

We finished our walk through Valletta in this beautiful well proportioned square. After that we wended our way back towards lunch and the ferry.

The main and side streets in the upper portion od Valletta are narrow. This square can be easily passed by without a map. If no map or app for one ask bystanders. Doesn't look like much at first, but walk around. Lots of historical context...More

when we visited the square was being set for New Years eve but it was a great place to explore piece of history. We also saw The Buckingham Palace of Valletta

The Guards will be mounted daily between 9.30am and 4.30pm with a change of guards every hour
