Formerly on Merchant Street, Ordnance Street Market is not a bad little market. Selling things such as jewellery, leather goods, clothes, the prices are very competitive. I purchased a small leather (so I am told) coin wallet for just €3. I will certainly be going...More

Not sure where the market should be or maybe it's placed somwhere else, but this street is a beauty for itself. Parallel to the Republic street, but much less crowded, it goes all the way through Valletta, and has some nice shops along the way.

There was no market in evidence when I was here during the last week of February, so it has either moved or closed. Still, the street makes for an interesting exploration, being somewhat quieter and less touristy than neighboring Republican Street, especially with the Carnival...More

It's as beautiful and big as the sister street republic but with less people on it , I personally having to push a buggy preferred that one instead. Loads of shops and eateries but know that the market moved to a different place

I loved wandering the streets of Valletta, even on a Sunday there were still plenty of people and open shops. A few nic restaurants and beautiful views to all sides. The old beuildings are amazinf and there is a great vibe!

Not worth a special visit as it is, for the time being, moved as others have said. Very limited now. Hoping its just temporary although suspect it may be due to the cafe and bar owners wanting the space as they are now using most...More

We visited Valletta and tried to find this daily market. We got a map from tourist information and it showed the market to be in the lower end of merchant street. We walked down that way but no market ?! We began ambling back up...More
