Suggested walk: you can walk around the complete Valletta Bay, at sea level, well below the town of Valletta. Start at the Sliema ferry port, and walk around the Fort St Elmo. You will pass this rather new bridge (mainly financed by the EU). It's...More

if you are interested in architecture, it is worth visiting the bridge. to do this, you have to go on foot with Sliema to Valletta, it's easy to get lost

If you take a walk towards Valetta from Silema, you will see this bridge, from the side. The harbour cruises go under it, but we couldn't find anyway of getting to it, to cross it.

This steel&wooden bridge designed for pedestrian usage is located below St. Elmo fort and was quite recently completed (2012).

Well I am surprised this is on Trip Advisor. We went under it as part of a superb 90 minute Harbour Cruise with a superb on board audio commentary. It included this bridge and its history

Located below the St Elmo fort and at the mouth of the Grand Harbour, this is place which provides very nice views. You'll see it upclose for sure if you're going to Grand Harbour by boat.

The present Breakwater bridge is a reconstruction of the original. The bridge itself is not a highlight but the location is a great place to be.
