This boat trip takes two hours. You get to see lots of sheep, birds, caves and cliffs. A great trip and a must do. We went in sunny weather on the last day in March but it was very cold. Not too much wind so...More

We took the boat trip this past summer and had a great time. If was a cloudy day but no rain and the cliffs and birds there are amazing. The boat gets right next to the cliffs which can be up to 2,000 feet high...More

The two hour boat trip north from Vestmanna, alongside the steep hills and mountains full of sheep and birds, the magnitude of it all and the small anecdotes told along the way, as the boat takes you into and under and through cliffs and caves...More

Nice 2 hours trip to impressive rocks and small sea caves. Bring warm clothes along, it will get cold and windy. You can not buy anything on board, limited information on the way

We took the 215 afternoon tour on a Sunday, and despite being perfectly bilingual, the guide didn't provide any English commentary so we couldn't understand a word. No life jackets (or helmets) provided and the waters were incredibly choppy. Barely saw any birds- there any...More

An amazing experience. We got so close to those high cliffs soaring up from the ocean. Stunning! We booked one week in advance since the tours started to fill up. Our tour was cancelled due to bad weather but we were moved to a tour...More

We were in Torshavn on a cruise and took the ship's excursion to Vestmanna Bird Cliffs. I don't remember the bus company name and of course the ship doesn't tell you who they arranged through. The excursion cost about £60. We had a good bus,...More

This was well worth the time and money- an unforgettable experience. However, there were so many people on the boat we were packed like sardines. It also would have been nice to be able to chat with the captain. You can't miss the views though,...More

Totally worth taking this 2 hours trip. I must congratulate the captain for his skills as he steered the boat through small passages between steep rocks and through caves. A great way to see the dramatic terrain of the island. I must admit we were...More

We didn't head for the Vestmann bird cliffs as advertised, due to the apparently rough sea, but we were only informed about this after we sailed out of the harbour. The alternative location was not very interesting for seeing birds. We saw only a few...More

We did the trip today, we booked yesterday. The trip was very calm, but I guess it depends vastly on the weather.
