Really picturesque! It's quite steep to get up and down but there is actually a lift at the end closer to the city. Great place to take photos and just enjoy the view.

This was a highpoint of our trip. The battlements and its extended tunnels are really worth seeing. Amazing to imagine the history and all the work put into its construction. From the canon ports there are spectacular views of the old city and the rivers. Not recommended for the claustrophobic.

Good view of valley and bridges near by. Good spot for taking pictures and selfies. It is closed in winter. So I could visit but still worth to pass by for good view of city.

The casemates were closed, but the view from the city walls is amazing itself. Highly recommended place to visit.

An amazing fortification, built in 963, that was part of a much larger complex. The case-mates were used during times of war to house thousands of soldiers and their horses. What I found most fascinating was how large the case-mates are which enabled blacksmith shops, bakeries, restaurants (a whole city) to be present inside this fortress. Most of the complex... More

Because it was winter, this site was closed, but hearing the history and seeing it from outside was good enough. Michaela our guide was so well informed!

The walls of this fortified town are an absolute must see. From Casements du Bock you get a great view of Grund, the old part of town.

Seeing all the cave openings in the cliffs, we were curious to go inside and take a look. It was fun exploring and the views from the openings were lovely. It is hard to imagine a large number of people camped out in those caves. And it was interesting to find out that they were largely destroyed by Luxembourg because... More

Lovely to wander along and take in the engineering feat of this structure. Great views from up here. A real historic treat.
