If you want a really beautiful beach which is not too busy but has a cafe/bar and toilets then Fuseta is great! Beautiful beaches without the need for a boat trip (although there are trips to further beaches if you want and have the time). Safe, sandy beach with far fewer people than others at this time of year! Spend... More

Lovely quiet place to go for a walk and have some delicious seafood. There isn't much else to do here. You'll need a car. We didn't travel to the islands. But I wish we did!

The Fuseta islands are only accessible by boat. You can arrange a departure and pick up time with the boat operator at Fuseta quayside. In March the islands were deserted - peaceful wide sandy beaches with the sedate waters of the lagoon on one side and the crashing waves of the Atlantic on the other. We went to an island... More

We managed to get a taxi boat across to the island despite being there out of season. We think we where the only ones on the island that day. Awesome. The calm logoon on one side and the crashing Atlantic on the other. Just a stunning beach and location. Highly recommend this place to anyone holidaying in this part of... More

A ferry from the river harbour will take you to the beach in 5min. you need to be careful and go for state ferry that charges only 1Euro per ride. Once there you can walk left or right – we went left and you can choose your own spot even go naturalist if you like. You can enjoy miles of... More

Take all you need for the day and enjoy! Splendid views back to the village and beautiful white sand. Take all you need to eat and drink, include a parasol and oodles of sunscreen, there's no shelter from the sun, then relax and enjoy!

Fantastic sandy beaches and what is more important: they are not overcrowded with people!!! It is peaceful, tranquil and makes a nice day out trip. And the colour of the water is so so beautiful!!! It is a real gem!

Great experience with lots of activities and great bars for cocktails and very clean toilets If you don't want to go on the cute boats which give access to the boat you can catch a water taxi

Amazing islands with natural and salvage beaches. You need to take a boat taxi and choose which island you want to go so they come and pick you up whenever you scheduled. There is nothing but nature on these islands so you want to take very cold drinks and food. I suggest to go there between march and the beg,... More
