one of many ruined churches we came across in northern cyprus but we did discover some remnants of old wall paintings which were worth looking at.

This would have been an immense church in its day being built in the 16th century. Sadly only the walls remain with no roof, most windows destroyed and now a neglected wreck. However it still has some stature and its nice to stand inside and...More

The ruins of this church are beautiful, they remind of a bucolic old painting from the Romantic area. Come in the evening and enjoy the quiteness and calm of the ruins

Second visit here and still stand in amazement by the ruins and their history. Have a wander round and take some stunning photos against the clear blue sky - a must see for those interested in this kind of thing.

Its a Gothic type of church that was built in the 14 th century. You can see the remains. If you look carefully you still can see the wall frescos.

This ruin is worth a quick visit. I don't know much about its history other than it was damaged by the ottoman. I can imagen it would have been a beautiful church.

Enough left to see but sad to see what must have been a magnificent building in this state. Some fresco remains in some sections.
