When visiting the Kyrenia castle we stumbled across the harbour, just a few steps down from the drawbridge which is now in stone. A good ambience with lots of restaurants greets you- fishing boats moored, waiting to go out early next morning

This seems to be THE place to be seen. Lots of cafe, restaurants and bars. It is a pleasant enough place but nothing outstanding .

Kyrenia harbour is really attractive, prettier than both Pafos and Latchi. Beware though, the general quality of restaurants is poor, and prices are high. Best value harbour is Latchi.

I think the fact that it's no longer a commercial port makes this a really picturesque marina ⛵. With the castle as a backdrop it really is pretty.

Good for day or evening stroll, many fish restaurants there with a nice outlook. There is a certain amount of touting for business, but not overly intrusive.

Fantastic location, spent a week here and had some wonderful evening meals at the many restaurants in and around the harbour. The weather was 24c plus every day, so plenty of walking and what a delight when you can signal the many Dolmuses that run too and from different outlying areas into Kyrenia Center when the old legs are feeling... The harbour area is not only well worth visiting, it is definitely worth stopping here for a drink and food. With magnificently maintained wooden boats ( plus the ship's cat) this is a pleasant place to pass a few hours. Move into one of the side roads and there are plenty of cheaper eateries and a few more feline friends... More

A wonderful harbour full of good restaurants and a wide variety of yachts and boats.Has a distinct charm. The harbour is overlooked by a historic castle. On a Sunday great atmosphere as local families strolling around amongst the tourists and buskers.Several stray dogs around but looked after by local welfare group who leave out food and supply a few kennels for shelter...
