The museum is dedicated to the world's oldest vessel discovered in the waters of Cyprus. The museum comes with many explanations. The vessel is preserved in a special room and can be seen from all sides.

The museum is inside Kyrenia castle. It shows the remains of an ancient shipwreck which is historically important for a variety of reasons – not least that the cargo was partially preserved after 2000 years. Worth a visit.

This exhibit is almost like a special bonus when you visit Kyrenia Castle. A very well documented display with good graphics and photographs. The exhibits themselves are fantastic but the descriptions enhance the experience to give depth of understanding

Visited whilst touring the castle. Think of old museums in the UK 50 years ago. Visit it whilst touring the castle, but if entry was not included in the admission charge for the castle I would not bother.

The pictures and the displayed items relating to ancient ships were very valuable to learn about the construction of ships in the old days. The value of these ships were evident when you read the provided information. A good educational experience for me.
