Gorgeous exterior and a breathtaking church. A must see. It can be easily visited in about 2 hours. We visited this in the morning and St. Hilarion Castle in the afternoon.

I rediscovered Bellapais Monastry recently! I've seen ruins of many monasteries across Europe. This is the mother of them all. There is something about this place! You can breathe in and feel history whilst enjoying the surrounding village!
