A lovely beach with years of turtles coming to lay their egs -almost ruined by the advent of tourism and its usal mess of car parks, cafes etc. Now all development has been stopped, most before too much damage has happened. Just needs a damn...More

We visited Alagadi beach with our little girls and was really disappointed. The beach was partly sandy and pebbles but it was full of rubbish with broken bottles, really dangerous for children. I must have picked up over 30 large pieces of broken glass bottles....More

Admittedly visited early season but this was a lovely spot. Safe for children with lots of books and crannies to explore from the shore of by swimming. Idyllic couple of days that felt like an old fashioned bucket and space beach holiday.

We live by the seaside, so perhaps not as impressive for us, but a long clean beach, with shallow paddling. We went with a coach trip, in no time the beach was crowded with 4 or 5 bus loads!

Took us a while to get to this beach and to be fair there’s nothing there to do as all the amenities have been removed. The views and the beach are stunning though. Very good.

Can't really answer that but I am sure your hotel will run taxis. They are cheap in northern Cyprus. Visit the spot Facebook page for hatching information.

You have to nook preferably online and you may be a fair bit too late to visit at such short notice. Tend to book a week ahead or even more. Places are limited. Google Alagadi Turtle watch and you should find site to apply... More
