This is not a classical beach for staying in the sun, but it is more for walking, taking pictures. You can spend easily half day here as you can walk for hours and see very different huge white stones. Also the taverne ist very nice.

The white rocks at Governers and the bay in front of restaurants used to be lovely but IT IS DISGUSTING NOW!!! Wipes with what looks like poo (sorry!) are left all over the rocks (well known cruisers area) that doesn't bother me but evidence of...More

One more amazing beach place with fish restaurants on the top hill and the seaview in front of your eyes. Enjoy swimming and then have fresh fish plates from several tavernas around the area. Take photos of the beautiful sea with clear waters and sandy...More

There was a beach bar and sunbeds and changing facilities. For those preferring to get away from the crowds it makes a nice day out.

it was a cute beach, very small but the sand is black and isn't great for sandcastles. Good snorkeling but not a great restaurant for drinks. We found it quite difficult to manage with babies, 3 and 9 year old.

We have often visited Governors beach and have parked near Angelos Faros and enjoyed the wide sandy beach. When the children were younger it was perfect, safe and nearby tavernas, but not picturesque. More recently taking the turning for Kalymnos restaurant there is a much...More

This is a pleasant beach, near to the old town, can get crowded at times but close to amenities which is handy in the heat
