On the 11th of April we tied the knot in this impressive location at the Paphos Harbour! The Castle was our first choice and all our wedding photos capture the joyous moments perfectly. Make a point to visit this imposing structure when in Paphos !

Nice port. And at the end of the promenade the "castle". That's it. Didn't go inside. No idea if possible.

Paphos Castle isn't so impressive from the outside but once you pay your two and a half euros and enter this building you realise it is worth the money. There is an audio visual presentation on the ground floor, which explains the history of the castle and when you climb the stairs to the battlements you are rewarded with a... More

So, Ok, it is not expensive, only 2.50 Euros per adult, but then you don't get much for your money except a view of Paphos. There are a few boards to read downstairs but once you climb the stairs, nothing to read whatsoever. It would be good if they could at least have boards explaining what things are. For example... Nothing much to see, more picturesque, but still worth going inside and climbing to the roof. Kids would like it.

€2.50 entry but didmt notice the price until we saw mini sign in the window we think the price is fsir for the upkeep of the fort but not much in it except abstract art. The view from the top is amazing tho great holiday snaps the harbor is amazing with shops and resturants shop around for the best deals... More

Right now the castle is host to modern view art based pieces which vary in interest and quality if this your thing. This is part of the City of Culture events. View from the roof is good across the bay and town and worth the small charge alone.

Hand over your €2.50 and spend about 45 seconds getting up the steps and having a look around. Nice views from the top but not much else to see.

Worth a look around, even if only for the views from the roof (don't expect a UK approach to health and safety - which is somewhat refreshing!). Generally empty. Not the greatest castle/fort if used to Norman/Welsh castles - try Kolossi castle for that). But when in Pathos do what the tourists do - take 30 mins for a look

The castle has been built a long time ago. There you get the chance to see what tools/weapons used in that time. You should go ahead and try it out
