Well worth a visit. Great views from Monastery upper terrace & special church. Only the Abbot still living there now, but all the local community support & continue the opening of the monastery

Sought out this place to visit during a short road trip into the hills. There weren't many visitors at the time. It's in a lovely spot but the information is limited. There's a very small cafe which served luke warm coffee.

Lovely little monastery, great for a visit and a coffee. Brought some wine which was nice and some Cherry Liqour but was a bit like a syrup, so I will be using it for baking.

Despite it being incredibly difficult to pronounce, this is a great monastery to visit. It is very quiet, produces its own wines, and the church has some colourful frescoes above its doors. The main feature though has to be the view from the terrace at...More
