Whilst not worth a visit on its own, joining with another monastery in Panagia , Makarios' birthplace and the Kannaviou dam, it makes for a pleasantly interesting day out.

This is beautiful inside you have to cover up your knees and shoulder as a mark of respect either your own clothes or they provide rap rounds or gowns

This was the 2nd stop on our Jeep safari. Good to stretch the legs especially if you were in the back. It is well maintained and quite tranquil.
