Everywhere seems either empty or closed or smashed up. Very poor. Very sad. Recession must have hit badly. So much for European Capital of Culture 2017 🤔

Ironically none of the best bars are in bar street. It should be call half closed/ boarded up street. Certainly not the best introduction to Paphos.

What a real shame, the area has really been neglected. I also remember 10 yrs ago when it was a vibrant area now most hard are closed/relocated. Very few people passing through. If something isn't done it will effect Paphis badly.

Sadly there's not a lot going for this place. It's shabby & the whole area needs regenerating. Most places are closed down or have relocated.

This area needs serious attention to restore it to its former vibrant self. Many closed bars and crumbling signs. Those remaining open think that flashing lights and overloud music will attract visitors, when more exiting things would do the trick.

The last time I was here this was a busy street even though it was February 10 yrs ago it was lively and had a party atmosphere. Now it's a decaying ghost town with just a few empty bars open. ? What happened.

Bar street has the potential to be a great area again and a hub of activity, unfortunately there seems to be a lot of closed down establishments in need of TLC. You will still find a good selection of bars and restaurants to suit anyone's...More

Typical scenes of young people who have had too much to drink and are behaving badly Drugs being sold Helium balloons being sold to expel gas into your mouth which I feel is a very dangerous practice when individuals are already heavily intoxicated

Its a bit of a dump. Been neglected but now receiving attention. When work finished, should be good. Its only a small area and rest of Paphos is very nice.
