Please be aware that as per other reviews the museum is closed till November 2017. If you want to get there when it reopens the 603 bus from the harbour runs past the museum.

I have visited this museum before and it is well worth it. However despite Paphos being the European city of culture 2017 this museum is closed until November. The Byzantium museum was also closed in January. Unbelievably the whole of Upper Paphos town centre is dug up. Not good planning

We had a tour in the central paphos museum. Big disappointment. The place looked very old, dirty and unattended. No customer Service. Limited sculptures and mosaics. I wouldn't return personally. Thank you.

Wasn't too impressed with the museum, not that much there. Did think there would be far more to see. Worth a visit.

Small informative museum. Takes approx 1 hour to do. Interesting artefacts from BC to medieval times. Not well sign posted on outside and no indication that there is a good car park with disabled spaces BUT the access path from car park is totally unsuitable for wheelchairs and the stair lift on the outside steps was covered up and out... If you enjoy pottery, stone work and very old days is a place for you. Is little bit on the outside of old town. Got a little bit of stone work on outside of the museum and much more inside. Really nice place but feel not big enough... well we spent there 1 hour so not long really. Lots of information... More

Because of the disruption to the town centre, we were told the best stop for this museum in any case is Stop 7 on the Open Top Bus which is right next to it. Staff on entry were helpful and pleasant and you can buy guide books, postcards and a few trinkets. There is a toilet downstairs but no café.... More

We saw this on TripAdvisor and as we were up in the old town, thought we would have a look. It has spears and medical instruments as well as tiny glass things and figurines. I loved it. The road closures can make access tricky but we just circled around and got there in the end. So worth it!

This museum is one of the best in the area. You can see a lot of exhibitions and learn a lot of things about the ancient greek-cypriot civilization.
