Beautiful church!

Beautiful church in the center of Paralimni. The church caretaker is so friendly and will tell you about the church if you have time.

I always like to visit the 'real' towns when I go on holiday, rather than sticking to the tourist trail. Paralimni town centre is not very big with some strange and narrow streets. Worth a visit for 1/2 a day whilst on holiday. Parking in the centre can be a bit of an issue but plenty of side streets with... More

Fantastic, you really must drop in and view if you love architecture and churches, built in 1969, it won't dissappoint. Also pop into the much older church next door. Looking forward to joining in on the Easter celebrations .

This church is a MUST VISIT place when you are in Paralimni. The caretaker will invite you inside and make you welcome, even if you are wearing shorts. He will give you a candle to light for your loved ones, whether or not you make a donation. The frescos are awesome and you can take photos inside the church.

Beautiful place. With two other smaller churches behind it. Plenty of shops to look for something nice. Have a drink in one of the bars or something to eat in one the restaurants

If you can, be sure to visit the older St. George church right next door. It has an amazing wall icon of St. George with a lot of history!

Beautiful church in a large square in Paralimni . Easy to find in the town centre. Take in the view from a bench by the church. Relax

i have never seen anything like this in my life. When you enter it was a proper WOW moment! Every wall and the ceiling was covered in beautiful religious images from the Bible that were painted so amazingly with stunning golden candelabras hanging from the ceilings. Absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Even if you weren't particularly religious, I would definitely... More
