Interesting story behind this funny little statue and the fountain, it takes only couple of minutes for a selfie and you can move on.

For me, a statue has to be either very good or very special to enthuse me, and this was not it. I guess there is a good story behind it (we didn't hear it); that can make it more appealing. You will probably pass it...More

It is said that this fellow is responsible for draining his keg onto the churches and townsfolk, thus creating Lake Wörthersee. Many will toss coins into the pond after a rub of his golden finger for luck.

Again for my family this was a one minute story and stop. We did walk by daily on our other adventures about this town. Very central and easy to find.

It is a nice sight, and fun to read and talk about. The fountain in front of it is closed in the winter, so we couldn't toss a coin in it, but it was still a nice sight.

It was nice and interesting walking around Klagenfurt and Mandl is one of the best attractions in center.. great position to take a photo :)

In the summer, if you toss a coin and make it to the pond, the legend said you were to come back here. I went in March and it was closed. I hope I get to come back here someday. Loved the city
