This was quite a climb but exhilarating when you make it to the top! The views are spectacular and well worth the climb. Just wear appropriate footwear!

It was quite a climb but the views are worth it. We went up through the forest and came down using the road. The forest was lovely in May.

Nice views, but you need to find the stairways leading up to it first. Great for picnicks and dates.

Beautiful walk around Salzburg city providing you with panoramic views of all sides of the city. There are different paths and routes that can be taken, during our 3 night stay we used this route many times, very enjoyable, great place for walking dogs too....More

I took my school trip on this short hike on the day we arrived. Yes, we had jet lag but why not take in some beautiful views of the city?

The burg is a great walk to stretch your legs if you need to get out of the city. It's steep, but the views over the city and the austrian alps are stunning, and best of all, there's a restaurant at the top!

Am planning to be in Salzburg soon and wanted to know more about the climb? How long does it normally take? And is there any place to rest if I feel tired? Not really fit and have some back pain. Thx for ur help in advance 😊
