A pharmacy of yesteryear

Well worth a visit to admire the architecture and step back in time, a beautifully preserved building and interior that still trades as a pharmacy.

One of the historic chemist and druggist with pretty much old fashioned design and unchanged over the years(According to locals). You don't have to buy anything from the shop but it still is worth a visit and they do have some unique offerings.

Lovely shop, and kept in the old fashioned style. Great for a wander in. Though I did not buy anything but overall good experience.

Hardly to believe that this chemist is still nearly unchanged in so many years. Step inside, buy yourself some cough lollies and soak in the atmosphere

I had coffee and superb Austrian Creme Schnitt. Both were excellent, service was good and non-obtrusive (I was working on my laptop.

This is a rokoko facade building and an old pharmaca inside as it was centuries before. Of course it is not a museum, you can get everything you need from a pharmacy. It is wirth just to drop in.

This is one of the wonderful surprises Salzburg offers: a real, modern pharmacy, where you can get your prescriptions filled or buy over the counter meds - but step inside and you find yourself in a 17th century pharmacy. Check one of the other reviews for pictures of the interior to see what I mean. Even if you don't need... More

I would have never found this one if I had not suffered from sun allergy and needed some medicin. The staff is very friendly, its interior geargiously antique, so this is no museum but a pharmacy in working order... At least 3 locations are known: late 16th century in the Getreidegasse number 9 (also known as Mozart's birthplace), 1588 was... More
