We went on a warm evening in May and we were not disappointed. We got in line to get our beer mugs and paid a very reasonable price, you had to be quick in handing over your mug as they very quickly filled it with beer. We managed to find a spare table outside and the atmosphere was great. We... More

My husband and I stopped here for a drink after visiting Monchsberg. It is a huge bustling place! Make a friend and ask to join them at their table. Go up and get yourself a beer and if you're hungry, there are several vendors in the hall. We only had a pretzel, but many other people were eating. My guess... More

This was our biergarten experience -- walked here from the City Center and arrived at opening. Entered on the second level and grabbed our food first and then went to secure a table and then get the beer. September afternoon - sunny and breezy under the trees with locals and good food. Quite the place to just hang out. Easy... More

The Augustine Brewery is a must when in Saltsburg. Fabulous beer, lots of great food and wonderful atmosphere sitting outside under the trees. It's a massive place and we were told it is the largest brewery in Europe. People of all ages and lots of locals. Highly recommended!

OK, it's not refined. But get yourselves to it. It's big, it's brash, it's loud, it's fun and it's excellent entertainment. The beer was great. Grab yourself a stein, visit the lady at the booth, pay for beer, go to the men at the kegs. Then get some meet, potatoes and sauerkraut. You will not regret it

Very nice setting during Salzburg'so October festival. Got our mug and took to the Jamokes pouring the beer. Did a poor pour and the mug was half foam! Watery and not up to normal standard.

Big food and big beer, what more could you ask for on a lazy afternoon in Salzburg. Go visit for a wonderful experience, pay your money, pick your stein, give it a wash and pass to the bar tender to fill, watch out when he slides it back across the counter.

We were a bit confused on arrival but quickly settled in at a table with locals. We had two liters each as we people watched. Sadly the weather was bad so we were couped up but they have ample indoor seating! My girlfriend procured us some ham with mustard and horseradish... I was not disappointed. Everything was tasty and fresh.... More

We parked the car right near Augustiner Brau and when we came back heard a lot of noise. We realized that we could have dinner there and decided to try. Great choice: good traditional food at an average price and a great "biergarten atmosphere".

Went one sunny afternoon with my wife and two children. Lovely beer garden, great fresh food, great beer and fantastic relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
