great store and helpful staff. I've been going there since I was a young kid and the atmosphere, selection of products and staff have always been really great. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in town and looking for high end collectables.

Amazing is an understatement, you walk in and the store itself is one big memorabilia museum of nostalgia. It is clear that most of the staff have made this their profession so it’s not like Toys R Us or Walmart where you get a blank stare and they need to spend time looking up what you are looking for.

I had snow white figurine at home where a finger fell off and wondered if someone at this store knew what glue to use…. given they have all the memorabilia out for display and some in hands reach… the guy I spoke with recommended a glue that worked and showed me the glue so I could take a picture and where I could purchase it. I found out after a few more visits that he is the owner.

My husband and I love this store. We live locally though when we lived farther away we would travel to it. Some think we moved to Langley as it has Toy Traders lol.

I am shy so don’t normally post things though the comments below made me think people are getting the wrong idea and walking away and saying it’s not worth the trip and it absolutely is.

Amazing store and thankful for it!

I would give this store a zero if I could. Terrible customer service and ethics, and I dealt directly with the owner. I've always shopped here and paid extra for each item just to support small local businesses. I will no longer support them and I'll save a lot of money by buying online.

Such a bad store. I had preordered a certain 1/6 scale modela few months back, and was told if I put my name down and phone number, when it arrived I would be reserved one for the retail price. Well, a couple of days ago when it arrived, they had already decided to mark it up 35 percent, for a newly stocked item. Such a ripoff, when the same thing is listed on places like ebay (notorious for overvaluing items) for much less. The person on the phone explained to me that they can't sell it for MSRP prices because then someone would trade it in and rip them off, which makes no sense, because they would only give a fraction of the worth regardless and then proceed to sell it for even more, so I'm not buying that. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. Everytime I phone in to ask about something, the staff are absolutely clueless about their products and just tell me to drop by. Right, let me just drop by, and waste my gas, time and money to drive to you guys to check something out that you couldn't have the product knowledge to tell me over the phone? Absolutely ridiculous. Having stopped by there a couple of times (never out of the way, god no) everything they price, you can basically get for cheaper or less if you look hard enough at online auctions. What a ripoff of a store. Furthermore, their COVID 19 safety practices are disgusting, with 0 regard for social distancing and safety, and they operate like they are an essential service in this crisis. After this "preordering incident", I'm never going back. I'll sit at home and order what I want online. There's nothing left to say that's goodcan say about this place, not anymore.

We come to the area for a road trip JUST to come to you toy traders! The knowledgeable staff, and fun atmosphere are some of the perks!
They also allowed my dog to come in the store while we spent hours looking at pops! (The dog was much more bored!) thanks for having the coolest store ever!

Overrated, over hyped and expensive. Stays open amid the pandemic like they're an essential service pretty selfish.

They used to be good. Collectible items like the statues and 1/6 figures used to be priced fairly according to the market. Then the owner started getting greedy in regards to pricing. For example, I'm a collector of Hot Toys and SS PF. It used to be fair to us collectors, but now because of scalping becoming common practice for newly released MSRP figures, they like to jack up the price way up high, to the point that you don't even have a chance of buying it for MSRP during release when they first get it. So why would I physically show up at a store and pay scalper markups when I could sit in my chair and order off online to pay the same prices???? Absolutely flabbergasted by their practices. Just called to find out they were selling a piece for a markup of over 50 percent while the piece IS still available at many retailers for MSRP. THIS IS TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE. To make matters worse, the trade centre constantly tries to rip you off and won't even pay cash. With that being said, the store has a nice amount of collectibles in view, most if not all from the owner's collection. He makes these cool SW dioramas for your viewing pleasure. But I've stopped going there COMPLETELY to purchase things. These days I keep my eyes out for deals online, because there's no need to physically go into a store and be ripped off. Waste of time and money. Thanks for being a great store of choice Toy Traders, once upon a time.

This store had lots of different variety! Huge space, lots of excellent vintage items. Only disappointment was MOC/new variety of vintage Star Wars - nothing at the time when I went in.

I've been here a few times, and it's always a good time. They have a variety of different kinds of toys and collectibles, for kids of all ages (yes, even us grown-up kids). They also do trade-ins if you're looking to sell some of your own stash. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I always find something fun for my child when I come.

This store has so much packed into it! They have Legos, stuffed animals (stuffies), action figures, comic books, movie props and replicas, and so much more! If you look up, you will see all kinds of scenes set up and things on top of every aisle. One of our favs is Beymax hanging from the ceiling. Wall to wall stuff and a knowledgeable staff. Can't go wrong. Plus, they have fun events where they dress up as characters from movies and things and you can take pictures with them, raising money for charity in the process.

We visit Toy Traders every time we visit Canada. Thanks for a great time every time 😁
