Well worth a visit. Gave a great insight into the lives and culture of the area. I especially loved the displays of the "stubbe" or parlours. Most notable for me was how little they seemed to have changed over several centuries. We took advantage of...More

What a great museum! you can stroll around and discover the huge diversity and richness of Alpine Folk Art and Tradition, including a critical reflexion on it. Highly recommendable.

We visited based on recommendation from the hotel. The church and tome are absolutely amazing. The museum was well set out. We would have liked more information in English to understand the exhibitions. It was OK for a short while.

The museum is not just about 'Folk Art' but also about life in the Alpine villages and local traditions and history. It is well worth while sitting through the film demonstrations.
