The „Concerts in Mozart’s House“ take place in the house of Mozarts first apartment in Vienna, now the monastery of the “German Teotonic Order”. Mozart lived and worked here for Archbishop Colloredo in the year 1781. The "Sala Terrena" with its beautiful frescos is the oldest concert hall in Vienna, where Mozart himself performed many concerts. The “Mozart Ensemble” will enchant you with a musical program that includes well-known compositions as well as great works of famous composers like Mozart, Haydn, Schubert, Beethoven, Bach etc. By performing in Austria and abroad, the “Mozart Ensemble” has established itself in the Viennese concert culture and has become an “insider tip” for visitors from all over the world.

The concert venue was VERY difficult to find as it is NOT at the Mozarthaus. That is a museum! Although nearby, we panicked and had to ask in several local shops and restaurants before a kind lady showed us where to go - explaining that...More

I absolutely recommend this place. The venue is intimate with only 50-60 seats. You are very closed to the performers who are great artists. We absolutely enjoyed our time and would definitely come back if we stay in Vienna again

The venue had an intimate atmosphere; it was comfortable and felt authentic and in-keeping with the period music. The performance was outstanding. Emotive and rousing. The evening was simple with no frills. This added to the pleasure of the whole evening; we enjoyed the environment...More

Not much to say. It was the right ambiance for the right music. I especially appreciated the acoustics and the art.

There are naturally many musical attractions in Vienna, and we managed to find time for two concerts during our visit. One of these was in the Sala Terrena at the Mozarthaus in central Vienna. The room itself is extraordinary. Small and intimate, it has been...More

The house is very pretty and the concert is really spectacular. You can feel in times of Mozart, three excellent musicians. I recommend it.

I cannot say I didn't like it, but I was anticipating something bigger or longer (>1 h) for the price of the ticket. All in all, the musicians were skilled, and the pieces they played were really great. A band of four was just fine...More

The good - by far and away, the selection of music, the musicians and to a lesser degree, the venue, made this an amazing and worthwhile evening. The musicians seems to really enjoy what they were playing and who they were playing with. The venue...More

This is a lovely way to spend an evening in Vienna. A string quartet, made up of professional musicians, play Mozart and Haydn pieces in the oldest music chamber in Vienna. Mozart himself performed in this chamber. The small, intimate setting makes for a very...More
