Nice to go and see but the park the statue is in is the better attraction. Lovely area not too far from the centre.

this is a park on a very good location as well, about 10 mins walk from downtown. little lake where u can feed the birds and ducks, places to sit and rest, also statues of Strauss, Schubert and many more

The walk around the park is really nice and you can take some great picture le with several statues including the one for Strauss, which is prominently displayed in the middle of the park.

Like I told before : I’m not a statue lover, but during my walk through “Stadspark” I passed this statue. Have a small break, take a picture of “golden” Strauss and get on. For Strauss : 5/5, for the statue 1/5, result 3/5.
