While staying in Vienna for two days, we strolled around the park twice in the morning rounds to snapshoot composer statues thereat. The one for another Austrian composer Anton Bruckner was also found there. Recommend tourists to search for these statues when they come to visit Stadtpark

I walked thru the park many times on my way to appointments all over Vienna. It was pleasant and always full of surprises. This is one of the 5-6 statues in the park. Don't miss the others.

I could say that it's just another statue of a composer in Stadtpark. It may not be as impressive as the one of Strauss, but it certainly is placed in a beautiful spot of the lovely Stadtpark. It was decorated very nicely when we visited during the spring time. The tulip bed was formed in the shape of a heart... More

If you visit Stadtpark during your trip to Vienna, one of the monuments you can see is the bust to to 19th century Austrian composer, Anton Bruckner. The Bruckner bust was created by Plany Linz and unveiled in May 1924 and is situated in Stradtpark amongst his more famed peers Franz Shubert and Johann Strauss. It is a simple monument... More

Beautiful status in the park very close to our Hotel - Hilton Hotel - walking distance. Tucked off the main roads.

Bruckner statue in the Stadtpark is not so big as Johann Strauss and Schubert. But it is something for those who love Bruckner symphonies.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
