Waited a long time to see this working at midday only to see that it was broken.undergoing repairs. There is only a tiny sign saying it is under repair and it should be better advertised.

If you want to see it, come at anytime. Do waste your time on waiting to see it working between noon to 12:15 pm (as we were assured by the guides and waiters working next to it). We were there on Sunday and Monday, wasting...More

There was a crowd of us all waiting for the 12 o'clock gong and the procession of figurers. The time was well past 12 o'clock before it chimed/gonged with some accompanying music. However there was NO procession of figures which was a little disappointing as...More

Fascinating clock, so pleased to see it was working accurately. It worked all day and was good to work out when the characters were gong to change.

Attraction in the centre of Vienna. Worth a visit. At 12 all 12 figures pass across front of clock, so this is the best and busiest time to visit.

If you are nearby, before noon, stop by. The 12 figures are unique and the organ soundtrack is perfect. The entire presentation us about 15 minutes.

Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral)
and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’
former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as
Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse
and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
