The art museum is well placed in the museum quarter and beautifull designed. It has both 19th century are getting into the 20th and also contemperary sections. Very interesting and highly recommended!

When visiting Vienna, the Leopold should be on the top of anyone's list who is interested in the many artists who lived and painted in Austria.

Yeh, if you love KLIMT and SCHIELE, and also love to look at nude women and their most private parts, you should go here. I had a strong reaction, actually starting to ask myself, it is enough with just paint nude women, to make it...More

A must see for any art lover, top ranking among the best museums world wide. The World's largest Egon Schiele collection, and Masterpieces of Gustav Klimt. The restaurant was for sure better than any food we ate during our stay in Vienna.

After going to the mumok which is opposite i had high hopes for this museum of art. It housed some very strange art by Klimt and shiegle. I cant say I enjoyed my visit here .

Once you have had your schnitzel and beer experience, you really need to check out some of the world class museums in Vienna. The Leopold is really quite something and worth a visit.

Easy to find in the Museum district, the Leopold offered 2 great special exhibits during our stay: One was the architectural works of Otto Wagner including those never built and the other a photography exhibit of D'ora. Both excellent and well worth the time!

This is an interesting museum even if are not a big fen of the modern art (first half of 20th century). Well presented collections of Klimt and Schiele. The museum building is also impressive.

If you like Klimt, this is a great museum- tells his whole life story with a good selection of pieces and recreations of his studio. Good exhibits of his contemporaries as well.
