This is a decent fountain with very strong aquatic themes, dating back to the late 18th century (with several changes made during the centuries).

Stopped by this lovely fountain on my way from Stephansdom to Staatsoper. As it was the week before Christmas there was no water in the fountain, but it was instead covered in snow and a place to buy real Christmas trees. So very pretty. The...More

We came across this lovely fountain as we walked the streets of Vienna. It was Autumn and it didn't appear to be working which was a shame. Statues actually come off the fountain which I found intriguing as they are normally encapsulated in central feature.

The fountain statue was located near Karntnerstrasse with many shops around the area. This place was less crowded than elsewhere and was quite a nice place to stroll around and have a cup of coffee in the nearby cafe.

This fountain is lovely by day or night and well worth a visit. It is just off the main city centre and surrounded by lovely buildings.

One of the more beautiful fountains in Vienna. Flip a coin into the water and make a wish. If you are near Neuer Markt viewing this is worth it. However, I recommend to combine this with other attractions in the near.
