Excellent effort to maintain Schubert's house and turn it into a museum. Though there weren't many customers at the time of our visit. A nice piece of characterful history in remembrance of an iconic composer.

Schubert only lived here briefly as a child. There is an exhibit about him in the home. We did not do the extra exhibit rooms that were an additional cost since they were not where he lived.

The price to the museum was cheap enough and we were glad that we was able to see his manuscripts, glasses, paintings, etc. However an English translation for the descriptions would be appreciated. The service however, was the worst out of many of the wien...More

We had expected to find either Schubert's house as it was when he lived here for 4+ years, or at least a reproduction, but found neither. There were a few articles of his, but perhaps the most interesting "exhibit" was a couple of desks one...More
