Main exhibition hall as well as the main lecture hall are both huge, with main Hall A having sufficient capacity. However the side conference rooms are all small and insufficient for such a big conference that I am attending. Also does not have a comfortable large auditorium. Location is good, right beside a Metro station, 4 stops away from Stephenplatz.... More

I was there for a conference. The congress center is closed to a MRT station. There are a bunch of places that you can have lunch during a conference such as McDonald and a couple of restaurant. After the conference you can enjoy an amusement park that is located very closed to the congress center.

I was here for a major European Oncology Conference. It is huge and can host about 20000 attendees as we had for the conference.

Nice, modern conference center. Very spacious halls and reconfigurable meeting rooms. Location in Vienna is very easy to get to and close to subway and tram stops.

Attended a medical conference here. Very impressive and large, and clearly well maintained. One of the better conference centers I have visited. The Prater is within walking distance from here!

Good facilities and comfortable. Clearly well maintained. To large if anything. Two railway stations servicing centre. Therefore better to rail in from city or more pleasant night time areas. Rail works well.

One of the better conference centres I've attended, with very good facilities, nice rooms and they put on excellent food throughout the day. It was quite easy to find and about a 45 minute walk from the city if you like the fresh air rather than the tube. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable.

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
