Another lovely church, beautiful inside, nice to walk around and witness. Dom at the top is fab, worth getting the lift up, paint work is just amazing. Although the the lift and scaffolding ruin the interior of this a,asking church

Although the copper dome aged with a nice patina is the most distinguishing characteristic of the exterior, the inside is very colorful with lots of gold details, murals, beautiful back altars and side altars. A nice diversion from the dark gothic churches.

When we first walked in we were shocked at the architecture. It's smaller and quaint. There is so much color I wasn't expecting to see.

If I'd not gone in at this time, I would have spent more time there - a really beautfiul interior in the heart of Vienna.

My second visit to Vienna was short, but I couldn't miss St. Peter's during holy week. I took a group of friends who had never been and they were impressed. Unfortunately we were not able to attend a live music performance, but I would love...More

When we were there (an early evening, around 18:00) it was just the organ, no other musical instruments, and a chorus. It was wonderful !
