An incredible charge church church. Oh very good example of the baraka. In a very interesting area in Viena. If you visit the church then you can also walk through the small streets that surrounded it. As a plus they also organize concerts free of charge.

The exterior of the church was plain however the interior was grand. Definitely a must see. As this is a church, it's free to enter. During the evenings, there is also someone playing the organ and I through it added to the atmosphere.

This church is in the baroque style and is wonderful to look at. The walls columns and ceiling have all been painted crafted and styled to make those who attend a wonderful experience even before any service starts. Remember your camera, a must have.

Took us a while to locate this church but was well worth it! From the outside just looks like a normal building but once inside you can appreciate how lovely it is!

See this church for the trompe l'oeil painting on the ceiling. It gives the illusion of a dome -- were added from 1703 to 1705 by Andrea Pozzo (who did the ceiling of Sant'Ignazio in Rome). Look for Pozzo's painting of Mary behind the main altar. You can see a couple of nice shots of it in my YouTube video:... More

We entered this church during a Tauck walking tour of the Medieval Section of Vienna. The University church was beautiful and we really enjoyed a symphony practice with excellent musicians. I have no idea how often the symphony practice occurs.

The church is extremely beautiful from the inside. The baroque style is completely different from the gothic style of st. stephens. Many people prefer the calmness of this church to the more popular st. stephens church. Would recommend going here.
