Frenetic, colorful, delicious walk through this ethnic neighborhood market. It was a bit out of our way, but well worth our time. Go hungry and graze your way through the stalls with beautiful fruits and veg; savory, delicious, falafel and shwarma; colorful candies, and luscious dates!

This is by far the best market in the city. I can find almost everything fresh I'm looking for here. Lamb, beef, poultry, superb cheeses, loads of produce, and great breads. Definitely recommend going early on Saturdays - things get really poppin' around 10. Walk through the market once before you make any impulse buys - then you'll know how much cheaper the stalls in the middle of the market are as opposed to the outside. Enjoy!

This street markets stretches pretty far. It sells everything from fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, clothes and etc. It's located on on thr 16th district and off the beaten path to tourists. They have food stalls and the prices are cheap! Highly recommend folks coming here.

What a shocking surprise to discover this gem of a market place. Here, it literally felt like I was in Instanbul, Turkey. There are predominately middle eastern kiosks here. Discover traditional cuisine and culinary delight of the Middle East.

This is the place in Vienna to go buying fresh fruits and vegetables. We've always found the best fruits and vegetables at an unbelievably low price. But it's also worth going there for a walk to have an impression on how many cultures live in Vienna and how they influence the quality of life and the diversity of the products you can find here.

Fresh apples and/or ripe tomatoes for €1 a kilo from a lively stall owner amid a buzz of different languages, hipsters and foreigners, Brunnenmarkt is an excellent market experience. In addition to fruit and vegetables, you can also find fresh meat, cheeses and fish. There are a lot of stalls also selling low quality clothing and leather items but if you walk around, you can find some nicely made craft items or score a bargain on a sweater or shawl. Towards the end of the street in Yppenplatz there are some nice restaurants and cafes. If you're in the area or from sub-saharn Africa and miss a taste of home, I recommend a stroll here.

We visited the market on a Saturday afternoon. It is located about a block away from the Josefstadter Str. metro stop. The streets are lined with stalls selling ready to eat food, vegetables, sea food, meat, and cheeses. There are also many stalls selling craft items but most were selling new low quality bargain items. There were a few interesting shops along the street behind the stalls that are worth taking a peek in. Overall, its worth a visit.

I went through this market as part of a food tour. I would not normally visit such a place as I am not much of a 'market' fan. Having said that there was a very good variety of goods and the people as well as the merchants were friendly. Worth a stop if you're in the area but certainly not a must see.
