This place is located inside the Maihaugen area, which means you have to buy a ticket for the whole thing to access it. But it was such a fun walk down memory lane! They had all the stuff I remember from my childhood, and more.

There are so many details about Postal Service in Norway here. You can experience how a postal office looked like over decades, history of post activity, weapons used to defend, vehicles used over decades and even sounds used in the process of mail delivery.

An interesting and informative stop if you are in Maihaugen, but not worth making a special trip. It includes train cars that show you how mail was transported and sorted between towns.
