This was definitely a memorable experience. First we missed the tour bus that was supposed to take us to the start of the excursion but lucky we had a car, They gave us the address of the place, and were able to drive over and suit up before they left on the sleds. Definitely a lot more work than I... More

I did the morning dog sledding trip with these guys. They pick you up in Trosmo then drive about 30 minutes to the farm. The dogs are all very friend and excited. They all just really want to run. After an introduction, you take the dogs out for around 2 hours. There are two people per sled. After sledding, they... More

We were picked up at Scandic Ishavshotel at downtown Tromso and took a minibus for 30 minutes to the farm. We were briefed and given warm suits, followed by a demo. The ride was wonderful and you got to soak up in the beautiful arctic scenery of Kvaloya and the mainland. Gorgeous mountain and sea views. The doggies are very... More

Plenty of time to interact with the dogs at the farm, great ride, Nice cake afterwards. Use the protective cloathing they offer: it protects not Just against the cold but also against the jumping dogs

We loved this. Furst of all we were given really warm suits and all the gear we needed then met some of the dogs and then had a really comprehensive demo . As we went up towards the sleds the then silent dogs just broke out barking in excitement ! Such an atmosphere It was amazing. I think we did... More

I joined the Arctic Adventure Tours for dogsledding on the 7th of March. We met up in the city centre in Tromso and taken to the spot by a minibus. When we arrived there we were immediately taken into a small hut and given some thermal suites. Then outside the hut we were given a little introduction how to control... More

We opted for the "Wake and See the Arctic" Tour and it was fantastic! We were picked up promptly and the staff were lovely. On arrival at the kennels we got to meet the dogs and have lots of cuddles before our safety briefing. All the dogs look ecstatic and clearly love what they do, just like their human carers.... Just fantastic, incredible scenery, amazing dogs (ours were the best!) We took the tour at night in hopes of seeing the northern lights which we did whilst spending time with these superb dogs. They give you all the gear and all the neccessary instructions and then you are off. To drive a sled is truely a once in a lifetime... More

Amazing tour and experience of a lifetime. It is adventurous, beautiful and thrilling. You drive the sleds, so hang on and have fun. The vistas were amazing and the guides were incredibly passionate about the dogs and ensured we had the very best experience. Highly recommend to all. And the chocolate cake - delicious!
