I am regulary visiting Tromso, because my sister in law lives there and always wanted to meet reindeer. Several times we met them on the road, but they are shy animals and always start running the moment you try to approach them. So we decided to go to a place where it would be possible to meet them and via... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this Tour on Tuesday last. Ken, our Guide, was very informative and interesting, and also a pretty good reindeer driver and Joik performer! The meal in the Sami hut full of Sami artefacts and Sami facts from Ken was very nice and hospitable. We did not do the advertised lasoo throwing, but Ken probably... More

I have been waiting a lot to experience reindeer sledding and must say that it was not the event I was truly looking for. Small herd of reindeers, kept in a kind of a small camp next to big parking - not very natural and impressive. But, it gave a good hint of what the animals are. The main value... More

We did the reindeer sledding and we loved it .It was also a great oportunity to know the Sami Culture and traditions, our guide also performed a traditional song called joik, and prepared a traditional plate with reindeer meat and carrots and potatos. Amazing surprise in Tromso.

I was very happy with all the tours we did in Tromso except this one. The group was so big that we did the sledding in two groups who each went on a 20-30 minute ride. The reindeer and sleds are all tied together and you basically walk (very slowly) in a large circular track. They also advertised it as... More

This was a once in a lifetime experience. Not only did we have a reindeer ride, but we also learned of the native Sami culture. The reindeer ride consisted of about 7 or 8 reindeer pulling individual sleds. They are connected buy ropes and then all sleds are connected one by one. At first the guide was leading the reindeer... The actual reindeer sledding was good. There were only seven people in the group, so not too much delay in getting dressed and ready for the trip (the tour provides warm clothing). The reindeer had to be harnassed, which was fun to help with, and then we did a circuit on the hillside on Kvaløya to the west of the... More

I didnt like tromso lapland tours, everything was quickly, not interest from the guides. Good clothes. Not good food.the guides were not very kind, just watching us. Very expensive for the service you get.

We chose this tour as it was a 30 minute reindeer ride, and supposedly a 10 minute transfer. We didn't leave the Raddison Blu until after 10.15, travelled 10-15 minutes to a hut to get clothing, then travelled another 15-20 minutes to get to the reindeers. (Different to the 10 min transfer advertised). There were sleds out, but not all... More
