Must visit in Oslo. This place is unique artitecture creature and from top of opera you can view on all Oslo; great place for photo and relaxing, usually there are so many people that seat and enjoy icecream, you can go also inside! Sugest!

This was the first place we spotted when we were coached into Oslo-it's incredible to see! We just wondered around the building and got a beautiful view of the surroundings, albeit a windy one! It's definitely a striking piece of architecture.

Stunning seaside building worth a visit even if it's only the interior lobby and exterior ramps and rooftop views.

This building is not as iconic as the Sydney Opera House, but it is still spectacular both inside and out. Don't miss an opportunity to see a performance so you can enjoy the details in the performance hall. I love the individual translation screens for operas. A site well worth the time to visit with or without attending a performance.

If you like architecture this is certainly worth visiting. An impressive building inside and out and you get the opportunity walk on the roof which has to be a big draw for children- it certainly was for ours.

This was something that everyone told us to see. I'm glad we did, and it doesn't take long to walk to the top.

The building itself is worth a view inside and out. One must beware of which opera they choose. Paying for expensive seats to see Carmen performed in this gorgeous house only to have to witness the blasphemy of having it set in the 1960s can be heartbreaking and take away from the beauty of your surroundings. You might be better off... We could see this building from our hotel and was a good landmark to orientate yourself while exploring the city. We could see little dots of people all over the building and so had to go over and walk on it, great place to sit in the sun. Went back a couple of days later to walk on the top... More

I really liked the architecture of the building. I did a tour, which was fantastic and I would absolutely recommend everyone to do a tour. We saw the medium and big stage, but also backstage areas such as the loading area and the workshop. I also recommend you to walk around the building - you can get glimpses in the... More
