A must see looking over the city

I've been lucky enough to visit the old ski hopp for a competition, and it was magic. Great atmosphere. Great seeing the amazing jumps.

Amazing views, when you go up with the elevators, you can see the city. The ski jump was amazing and impressive, just wish there was some ski jumps that we could watch :)

It's amazing to see an Olympic Ski Jump up close! It made me queasy just looking at it...I can't imagine going down it! (tho you can if you so desire!)

You need to visit the museum if you're up at Holmenkollen. Nice and friendly guide's. You don't need to be Scandinavian or a skii nerd to enjoy this historical journey.

How often do you get to go to the top of an Olympic Ski jump? Never. So, you should go. Plus the views from the top of Oslo and the surrounding area are incredible.

There is a great view if you go up the tower. However, there is only ONE elevator and if busy, it will take you over 1 and 1/2 hours to go up there. We came in early November morning, so there was no line. It was snowing, so we did not great a great view of Oslo. If yo are... More

The views from the top of Holmenkollen are breathtaking. While we did not visit the museum, the jump itself is incredibly impressive to realize people (willingly) go down the slope in skis. This is a great photo-op place as the views of Oslo are amazing here.

We'd never been to a ski jump before so that part was interesting and there's a great observation deck at the top of the jump where you can see all of Olso and the surrounding countryside. It's a ways out of town and a long uphill walk to the jump so plan on three hours at least to get there... More

The best part of the museum is definitely the view from the top. Amazing view of Oslo and the surrounding area. Nice little museum about skiing and Holmenkollen's past.

I was obviously there at the wrong time of year, but watching people slide down the flying fox grows tired very quickly. The view of surrounding countryside is, however, lovely. Our bus tour left us there for 30 minutes which was about twice as long as needed.
