Get there by bike, jogging, or by bus. Bring a book, seat by the sea, and bathe while waiting for the sunset. You will not be disappointed. One of the best spots in Oslo to have a break from the city life.

Oslo has been very hot this summer, so we headed to Huk beach. It's very close to the museums on bus route 30. As far as beaches go, it's average with rocks, seaweed, threadbare grass, goose poop, etc. But the water felt great on a...More

This beach is quite small and can get busy on sunny days. There’s a nice nudist area though. Also toilets and somewhere to get food and drinks.

This beach on the peninsula of Bygdoy is very popular and crowded on sunny days. Worth a while, or a day or two depending. Beautiful nearby natural grounds. Lots of museums and views all over the peninsula.
