Welcome to Vestkantbadet spa. We are located just behind the kings-castle and is one of the oldest bath houses and spas in Oslo. Dating back to 1930 it has the original Art-deco look that makes you feel like you have traveled 86 years back in time. We offer you a place to come and relax after a long journey. The entry fee is 150 kr and we provided you with towels and slippers. We also have organic shampoo, soap and conditioner for you to use in the showers. You will feel totally refreshed in our hot, dry sauna and a quick deep in our cold water pool, around 11 degrees. AAAAAhHHHHHh you feel like a real Viking afterwards ;) We also offer deep tissue massage and classic massage. If your feet need some comfort after hiking we can give you amazing foot treatment and spa packages. If you still suffer from yet-leg we can help you with our mild HBOT treatment (hyperbaric oxygen treatment). Get 50% oxygen under 3,5 meters of pressure. We also offer Floating tank experience! It feels like relaxing in the deadsea or being weightless! A must try!!! Looking forward to meet you :) Team Vestkantbadet

I mention 'clean' because these baths are one of the very few in Oslo - and Norway - where bathers actually shower first before entering the water. An old-fashioned locker system, but that's part of the glamour. Besides, the staff have got rid of the...More

My girlfriend surprised me with a spa treat, oh boy. The floating therapy was simply amazing. Lying weightless and with almost no connection to the outer world is something that everyone must try once. Once you get used you just relax so much that I...More

I'll admit, part of the reason we loved this place so much was because we had planned 72 hours of travel before getting to a place where we could take a shower, but the friendly staff and loveliness of the place deserves the highest possible...More

Not much apart from the showers, sauna and small pool. But welcoming. And, foremost, one of the few baths in Norway where bathers actually shower first before swimming. Even elders do so, whereas in most baths they couldn't care less and ignore signs stating 'Shower...More

If you want some massage for painful feet, or just want to try some sauna, try this. Only NOK 150 for an hour in the Roman bath (sauna, shower and icecold bath)
